Job Description

Packing season at an export fruit packhouse near Cape Town CBD means lots of shifts and lots of work. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

This post is in Cape Town CBD (Western Cape). Please only apply if you can travel there daily.

The work, day to day

Keep your packing station clean and free of stems and leaves
Help clean the line and machines at the end of the day
Stick labels and batch codes on each carton
Check fruit samples and record quality results on the QC sheet
Follow food safety rules like hand washing and no jewellery

You'll need

Valid ID or permit
Arrives on time for early shifts
Available for the full packing season including Saturdays
Able to stand at a line for long shifts
Quick and neat with your hands

On offer
