Job Description

This microlender call centre in Brackenfell needs a calm negotiator who can hear "no" without giving up. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

You'll be based at a microlender call centre in Brackenfell. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

The work, day to day

Update debtor contact details from tracing searches.
Answer disputes about balances, interest and fees with a printed statement.
Record reasons for non-payment so the credit team can adjust policy.
Hand accounts over for legal action once internal steps are exhausted.
Dial through your arrears book on the auto-dialler and confirm the debtor's identity.

You'll need

Good with numbers, dates and payment calculations
Target-driven and comfortable with commission
At least 6 months in collections, sales or a call centre
Registered, or willing to register, with the Council for Debt Collectors
