Job Description

You'll keep the attorneys at a debt counselling firm in Kempton Park organised, on time and ready for court. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

This post is Kempton Park-based, with most of your time spent at a debt counselling firm.

What your day looks like

Diarise court dates, prescription dates and filing deadlines
Prepare fee notes and draft invoices for review
Collect documents for estates, such as death certificates and bank statements
Handle incoming calls and give clients straightforward progress updates
Keep personal information in files secure under POPIA

Must-haves

Experience on legal software such as LegalSuite, AJS or GhostPractice
Matric plus a legal secretary or paralegal qualification
Organised under pressure from several attorneys
At least 2 years in a law firm or legal department
Fast, accurate typing and strong Word formatting
