Combine Harvester Operator (Seasonal) – Experienced

Planting to harvest, a fruit orchard near Bethlehem runs on good tractor drivers. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

The site is in Bethlehem; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

• Check oil, water, tyres and grease points before starting
• Mix and apply sprays exactly as the farm manager prescribes
• Clear firebreaks and grade farm roads when needed
• Haul cane, grain or fruit bins from field to shed
• Record hours, fuel and fields worked on the job card

• At least 2 years driving tractors on a farm
• Basic understanding of implements and settings
• Safe driver who respects chemical and machine safety
• Available to live on or near the farm
• Willing to work long hours in planting and harvest seasons
• Can read job cards and spray instructions

• Combine harvester experience
• A pesticide application or spray course
• Experience with GPS guidance or auto-steer

• Farm housing with water and electricity
• Harvest bonus at season end
• Overtime paid during planting and harvest
• Training on new machinery

• A reference from a previous farmer is gold. Ask for it before you leave any farm job.
