Company Runner (Code 8, Light Vehicle)

Every parcel scanned, every drop confirmed: that is the job at a motor spares shop in Isando. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

You'll report in Isando. Relocation is not covered for this one. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Return undelivered parcels to the depot with a reason code
• Deliver chronic medication to patients' homes and confirm ID
• Phone customers when the address is hard to find
• Load parcels in route order from the depot scanning area
• Bank cheques, post documents and run office errands
• Keep your vehicle or bike clean and report faults

• Good sense of direction and map reading
• At least 1 year of driving experience
• Able to work Saturdays
• Valid Code 8 (B) licence, or A licence for motorbike roles

• Previous courier or last-mile experience
• Knowledge of the city's industrial areas
• Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts

• Per-drop incentive on busy days
• Company van, bakkie or scooter provided
• Branded uniform and rain gear
• Fuel card for work trips

• If you have a clean driving record, write "no accidents, no traffic fines" plainly. It is what recruiters look for.
• Say you have a smartphone and know delivery apps. Most courier jobs now run through an app and training time is short.
