Job Description

A clean Code 8 licence and good street sense will get you started at a courier depot in Johannesburg CBD. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

Home base is a courier depot on the Johannesburg CBD side of Gauteng.

The work, day to day

Return undelivered parcels to the depot with a reason code
Keep your vehicle or bike clean and report faults
Follow the delivery app for route and stop order
Load parcels in route order from the depot scanning area
Deliver chronic medication to patients' homes and confirm ID
Fill up the vehicle and keep fuel slips for the logbook

You'll need

Able to work Saturdays
Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps
Valid Code 8 (B) licence, or A licence for motorbike roles
Clean driving record and no criminal record
Good sense of direction and map reading
Polite with customers at the door

Nice if you have

PrDP for staff shuttle posts
Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts
Knowledge of the city's industrial areas
