Job Description

This business internet provider in Umlazi wants someone who can open doors and keep accounts for years. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

Location: Umlazi, KwaZulu-Natal. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

What your day looks like

Chase overdue accounts with the credit department before they grow.
Log every lead, meeting and deal stage in the CRM.
Respond to RFQs and tenders with complete supplier packs, including B-BBEE certificates.
Book and run discovery meetings with buyers and procurement managers.
Forecast monthly sales and report pipeline value each Monday.
Prospect new companies by phone, LinkedIn and walk-ins in business parks.

Must-haves

2 or more years of business-to-business sales with a proven record
Matric plus a sales, marketing or technical qualification
You close deals, not just collect meetings
Confident with Excel, Outlook and a CRM
Solid presentation and negotiation skills
Resilient enough to handle long sales cycles and rejection

Helpful, not essential

An existing network of buyers in your sector
Salesforce, Zoho or HubSpot CRM experience
