Cost Accountant (Food Processing Plant) – Experienced

You'll own the monthly numbers for a private school trust in Rustenburg, from journals to the management pack. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

The site is in Rustenburg; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

• Track stock costing, standard costs and production variances
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and clear old reconciling items
• Run the month-end close and prepare the trial balance
• Build budgets and rolling forecasts with department heads
• Review creditors, debtors and payroll journals from the clerks

• Experience on an ERP such as Sage X3, Sage 300, Syspro or SAP Business One
• You meet month-end deadlines without being chased
• Working knowledge of IFRS or IFRS for SMEs
• At least 3 years of post-qualification accounting experience
