Job Description

Returns, assessments and objections all land on your desk at a financial planning practice in Mahikeng. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

This post is Mahikeng-based, with most of your time spent at a financial planning practice.

What you'll actually do

Register clients for income tax, VAT and PAYE
Apply for tax clearance and tax compliance status PINs
Prepare and submit ITR12, ITR14 and ITR12T returns on SARS eFiling
Keep client tax files complete for five years
Calculate IRP6 provisional tax for individuals and companies

What you need

Degree or diploma in accounting or tax
Working knowledge of the Income Tax Act and VAT Act
Clear writing for SARS letters and objections
At least 2 years of SARS eFiling experience
