Job Description

You'll help a primary health care clinic dispensary in Durban Central dispense scripts, manage stock and advise patients at the counter. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

What you'll actually do

Receive stock, check expiry dates and pack shelves first-expiry-first-out
Help customers choose over-the-counter and front-shop products
Do cycle counts and flag stock discrepancies to the responsible pharmacist
Pick, count and label medicine for the pharmacist's final check
Capture scripts on the dispensing system and check them against medical aid rules

You'll need

Working knowledge of a dispensing system such as Unisolv, Proscript or Healthbridge-linked software
Accurate with numbers and careful with labels
Friendly and clear at a busy counter
Matric with Maths or Maths Literacy

Helpful, not essential

Experience in a courier or chronic medication pharmacy
Experience with stock ordering through a wholesaler portal
