Crusher Operator (Primary & Secondary) – Fixed-Term

This post is Secunda-based, with most of your time spent at a gold processing plant. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Adjust reagent dosing and air flow to hit recovery targets
• Clear blocked chutes safely under isolation
• Watch mill loads, cell levels and densities on the SCADA screens
• Log plant readings and downtime on the shift log
• Call maintenance for bearing noise, belt damage or leaks
• Start up, run and shut down crushers, screens and conveyors in sequence

• Comfortable around noise, dust and heights while wearing full PPE
• MQA minerals processing certificate at NQF 2 or higher
• Certificate of fitness from the mine medical station
• Basic computer skills for SCADA screens and logs
• Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays
• At least 1 year operating a processing plant
