Customer Service Clerk (Courier Depot)

This furniture retail branch in Springs needs someone friendly who can fix account problems while the queue moves. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

This post is in Springs (Gauteng). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

• Do SIM swaps and RICA registrations with proper ID checks.
• Book repairs and warranty claims and give customers a reference number.
• Update customer details and file signed forms for audit.
• Call customers when repairs or orders are ready to collect.
• Greet customers, find out what they need and manage the queue ticket system.

• Presentable and approachable with all kinds of customers
• Accurate with cash and paperwork
• You can stay polite with a long queue watching
• Retail or customer service experience of at least a year
• Good on a computer and point-of-sale system

• Medical scheme or insurance product knowledge
• A Customer Service NQF certificate

• Monthly sales incentive on upgrades and add-ons

• Fixed roster published two weeks ahead

• Apply close to home: stores prefer people who can reach the mall reliably for opening and closing shifts.
