Job Description

Collections at a debt collection agency in Cape Town CBD is about firm, fair conversations and steady numbers. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

This post is Cape Town CBD-based, with most of your time spent at a debt collection agency.

What you'll actually do

Negotiate payment arrangements and set up DebiCheck mandates.
Hand accounts over for legal action once internal steps are exhausted.
Report daily on rands collected, contacts made and arrangements set.
Answer disputes about balances, interest and fees with a printed statement.
Send written arrangements by SMS or email straight after each call.
Update debtor contact details from tracing searches.

Registered, or willing to register, with the Council for Debt Collectors
Target-driven and comfortable with commission
Clear credit and criminal record
Matric
