Job Description

Hit your collection targets at this retail credit centre in Johannesburg CBD and your commission shows it. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

Home base is a retail credit centre on the Johannesburg CBD side of Gauteng.

What you'll actually do

Report daily on rands collected, contacts made and arrangements set.
Answer disputes about balances, interest and fees with a printed statement.
Record reasons for non-payment so the credit team can adjust policy.
Track broken promises-to-pay and follow up within 48 hours.
Keep calls within the National Credit Act and the Debt Collectors Act rules.

What you need

You keep your tone respectful even when the debtor is not
Clear credit and criminal record
Registered, or willing to register, with the Council for Debt Collectors
Good with numbers, dates and payment calculations
At least 6 months in collections, sales or a call centre

What you get

Council for Debt Collectors registration paid for you
Monthly incentives for the top three collectors
Uncapped monthly commission on collected rands
