Deep Clean Crew Member (Post-Construction) – Fixed-Term

When production stops at a dairy processing factory in Newcastle, your crew moves in and cleans everything down. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

You'll report in Newcastle. Relocation is not covered for this one. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

• Clean drains and grease traps in commercial kitchens
• Test sanitiser strength with test strips and record the reading
• Foam, scrub and rinse walls, floors and conveyors with approved chemicals
• Strip down and wash production equipment after the last run
• Store chemicals in the locked chemical store with safety data sheets
• Clear builders' dust, paint and cement off floors and windows after construction

• Willing to work nights and weekends when plants shut down
• Able to pass a medical fitness check for plant work
• Respect for chemical safety and PPE
• Physically strong for wet, heavy work

• Experience using a high-pressure washer or carpet extractor
• A Code 8 licence to drive the crew bakkie

• Full PPE: waterproof suits, boots, goggles and respirators
• Night-shift and standby allowances
• Paid training on machines and chemicals
• Higher hourly rate than standard cleaning
