Strong back, sharp eyes on the load sheet: that is what a furniture retailer warehouse in Mokopane wants. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

You'll be based at a furniture retailer warehouse in Mokopane. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Check goods received against the delivery note and flag shorts
• Guide trucks reversing into the bay with hand signals

• Able to lift and carry heavy items all day
• Willing to travel on routes that return late
• No criminal record
• Comfortable starting from 04:00 or working late loading shifts

• Past work as a driver's assistant

• Speaking more than one local language for customer drops

• Meal allowance on long-route days
• Route-completion incentives in busy months
• Help to get your own licence through the company later
• Uniform and safety shoes provided

• Say what hours you can start. Loading bays often hire the person who can be there at 04:00 without fail.
• Keep your CV to one page with your phone number big and clear. Depot managers phone, they seldom email.
