Job Description

Trucks come in heavy and leave loaded at this furniture retailer warehouse in Sasolburg, and you move the stock in between. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

You'll report in Sasolburg. Relocation is not covered for this one.

What you'll actually do

Offload containers by hand, counting cartons as they come off
Assemble or place furniture where the customer asks
Get proof-of-delivery notes signed and stamped at each drop
Stack returns and empties neatly for the next count
Sweep the bay and clear shrink-wrap after each loading
Load trucks from the load sheet in drop order, last stop first

Must-haves

Able to lift and carry heavy items all day
Honest; you will be handling customer goods and cash-on-delivery slips
Comfortable starting from 04:00 or working late loading shifts
No criminal record

Extra points for

Past work as a driver's assistant
Basic furniture assembly skills
A Code 8 or Code 10 licence (a route to becoming a driver)
