Order Picker (Cold Store)

You'll keep a busy clothing distribution centre in Welkom stocked, picked and moving out on time. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

Location: Welkom, Free State. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off
• Count stock during weekly cycle counts and month-end stock takes
• Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin
• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets

• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• You can read product codes and count accurately
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts

• Staff canteen with subsidised meals
• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
