Job Description

Cleaning, laundry and a hand with the kids: that is the week in a large estate home in Kempton Park. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

This post is Kempton Park-based, with most of your time spent at a large estate home.

What you'll actually do

Change bed linen and make beds
Prepare simple meals or school lunches when asked
Water indoor plants and feed pets
Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas on a weekly rotation
Wash dishes and keep the kitchen tidy after meals
Wash, hang, iron and fold the household's laundry

Must-haves

Trustworthy, with references from previous employers you can share
Willing to follow the family's house rules and routines
Good with children and patient
Able to speak and understand basic English

Helpful, not essential

Basic first aid or child CPR course
Experience caring for an older person

What you get
