Job Description

Cleaning, laundry and a hand with the kids: that is the week in a retired couple's cottage in George. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

Home base is a retired couple's cottage on the George side of Western Cape. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

The work, day to day

Help an elderly person with meals, medication reminders and light walking
Dust furniture, ornaments and skirting boards
Keep a list of cleaning supplies running low for the employer
Get children ready for school and supervise homework in the afternoon
Water indoor plants and feed pets
Change bed linen and make beds
Wash dishes and keep the kitchen tidy after meals

What you need

Trustworthy, with references from previous employers you can share
Neat, organised and able to work without being supervised
Good with children and patient
Able to speak and understand basic English

Nice if you have

Basic first aid or child CPR course
A driver's licence for school lifts
Cooking experience with family meals

What you get
