Domestic Worker (Live-Out, Weekdays) – Immediate Start

Steady household work in a family home in Mossel Bay, with clear days and hours agreed upfront. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

The work is in Mossel Bay, Western Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas on a weekly rotation
• Change bed linen and make beds
• Water indoor plants and feed pets
• Help an elderly person with meals, medication reminders and light walking
• Wash, hang, iron and fold the household's laundry
• Prepare simple meals or school lunches when asked
• Dust furniture, ornaments and skirting boards

• Willing to follow the family's house rules and routines
• Neat, organised and able to work without being supervised
• Good with children and patient
• Trustworthy, with references from previous employers you can share
• Able to handle a full-day physical routine

• A driver's licence for school lifts
• Experience caring for an older person
• Non-smoker

• Transport money for live-out staff
• Paid annual leave and public holidays as the law requires
• Written contract with fixed hours and duties
• Own room with bathroom for live-in posts
