Job Description

A family in Fourways wants someone they can trust with their family home and their children. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

Home base is a family home on the Fourways side of Gauteng.

What you'll actually do

Wash, hang, iron and fold the household's laundry
Water indoor plants and feed pets
Clean windows and patio doors once a week
Change bed linen and make beds
Dust furniture, ornaments and skirting boards

What you need

Trustworthy, with references from previous employers you can share
Able to handle a full-day physical routine
Able to speak and understand basic English
Neat, organised and able to work without being supervised
Willing to follow the family's house rules and routines
South African ID or valid work permit

Nice if you have

Cooking experience with family meals
Basic first aid or child CPR course
A driver's licence for school lifts

On offer

Own room with bathroom for live-in posts
Paid annual leave and public holidays as the law requires
Registered for UIF and COIDA by the employer
Written contract with fixed hours and duties
