Dozer Operator (Mine Dumps & Haul Roads)

If you run a machine safely and hit your cycle times, this underground platinum mine using trackless mobile machinery near Mogwase will keep you busy. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

The work is in Mogwase, North West, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Keep radio contact with the dispatch controller and follow the right-of-way rules
• Report defects and lock out the machine for the maintenance crew
• Refuel and wash the machine at the end of your shift where required
• Complete the pre-use inspection checklist for your trackless mobile machine
• Push and level material on dumps and stockpiles with the dozer
• Load, haul and tip with the LHD from draw points to the ore pass
• Respect the collision avoidance system warnings and park-up rules

• Valid operator certificate for the specific machine, from an MQA-accredited provider
• Able to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating day and night roster
• At least 2 years operating the machine in a mining environment
• Clear understanding of the TMM regulations under Chapter 8 of the MHSA regulations
• Code 10 or Code 14 driver's licence
