Job Description

Strong back, sharp eyes on the load sheet: that is what a cement and brick yard in Fourways wants. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

Sweep the bay and clear shrink-wrap after each loading
Get proof-of-delivery notes signed and stamped at each drop

You'll need

Honest; you will be handling customer goods and cash-on-delivery slips
Grade 9 or higher and able to read a delivery note
Comfortable starting from 04:00 or working late loading shifts
Friendly with customers at the door

Nice if you have

Basic furniture assembly skills
Past work as a driver's assistant

On offer

Route-completion incentives in busy months
Uniform and safety shoes provided
Meal allowance on long-route days

How to apply for this job

Read the "What you need" list above. If you tick most of it, go ahead and apply.
Get these ready, because shortlisted people are asked for them straight away: CV noting any loading, moving or delivery work plus police clearance if you already have one.
Use the form on this page. It takes about two minutes and you don't need to upload anything yet.
Watch for a call or WhatsApp from How2Apply over the next 9 working days.

How2Apply recruits for this position on behalf of hiring employers around Fourways; applications go into our talent pool and shortlisted candidates are introduced directly.

How2Apply never charges you to apply, for training, for uniforms or for a "placement fee". If anyone asks you for money, it is a scam.

Tips to get shortlisted

If you are learning to drive, mention it. Depots like to grow assistants into drivers.
Say what hours you can start. Loading bays often hire the person who can be there at 04:00 without fail.
