Driver's Assistant (Parcel Routes) – Fixed-Term

Delivery days start early in Phalaborwa, and a parcel sorting hub needs you on the bay before the trucks roll. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

The work is in Phalaborwa, Limpopo, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Sweep the bay and clear shrink-wrap after each loading
• Guide trucks reversing into the bay with hand signals
• Assemble or place furniture where the customer asks
• Ride with the driver and carry goods into customers' premises
• Check goods received against the delivery note and flag shorts

• No criminal record
• Willing to travel on routes that return late
• Friendly with customers at the door
• Able to lift and carry heavy items all day
• Comfortable starting from 04:00 or working late loading shifts

• Past work as a driver's assistant
• Speaking more than one local language for customer drops

• Help to get your own licence through the company later
