End-User Computing Technician

Get hands-on support experience at a corporate head office in Paarl, from password resets to new laptop builds. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

You'll report in Paarl. Relocation is not covered for this one. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Install and configure printers, scanners and docking stations
• Visit branches or sites to fix issues that need hands on the machine
• Reset passwords and unlock accounts in Active Directory and Entra ID
• Log, prioritise and update tickets on the service desk system
• Escalate network and server faults to second or third line with good notes
• Troubleshoot Outlook, Teams and OneDrive problems for users

• Patient and friendly with non-technical users
• Matric plus an IT qualification, such as CompTIA A+ or an IT diploma
• At least 1 year of help desk or desktop support (not needed for intern posts)
• Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 and Microsoft 365
• Basic networking: IP addresses, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi
• Able to log clear, complete ticket notes

• Experience with Intune or SCCM for device management
• CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft MD-102 certification
• ITIL Foundation

• Paid certification exams after probation
