Estate Security Supervisor

Officers look to you on every shift at a retail portfolio in George. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

Home base is a retail portfolio on the George side of Western Cape.

• Handle discipline issues fairly and keep written records
• Order and issue uniform, radios and torches
• Inspect guards on post for uniform, alertness and OB entries
• Investigate incidents and write reports for the client
• Do surprise night visits to check posts
• Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours
• Run on-site training on procedures and emergency drills

• Confident writer of incident reports and rosters
• Firm with staff but fair and consistent
• At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
• Available after hours for emergencies
• Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
• Matric, with a security management course a plus

• Computer skills for rosters in Excel or a workforce app
• Handgun competency for armed supervisor posts
