Job Description

Clients in a business park in Worcester pay for fast response, and this crew delivers it. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

This post is Worcester-based, with most of your time spent at a business park.

What your day looks like

Check the firearm in and out of the safe at shift start and end
Drive the response vehicle safely at speed to client addresses
Do vehicle checks: tyres, fuel, lights and siren
Write detailed incident reports on the tablet or in the vehicle logbook
Respond to alarm and panic signals sent by the control room

What you need

SAPS firearm competency certificate for handguns (and shotgun if required)
PSIRA Grade B or C with an armed response course
Calm under pressure and physically fit
Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts

Nice if you have

SAPS, SANDF or reservist background
Advanced driving course
