Job Description

You'll run a shift of officers at a guarding contract across several sites in Umlazi, keeping posts covered and standards high. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

This post is Umlazi-based, with most of your time spent at a guarding contract across several sites. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

What you'll actually do

Do surprise night visits to check posts
Meet the client weekly on security concerns
Order and issue uniform, radios and torches
Investigate incidents and write reports for the client
Run on-site training on procedures and emergency drills
Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours

You'll need

PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)
Matric, with a security management course a plus
Firm with staff but fair and consistent
Available after hours for emergencies
At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
