Estate Security Supervisor – Experienced

Officers look to you on every shift at a guarding contract across several sites in Vanderbijlpark. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

You'll report in Vanderbijlpark. Relocation is not covered for this one. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Handle discipline issues fairly and keep written records
• Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows
• Do surprise night visits to check posts
• Order and issue uniform, radios and torches
• Investigate incidents and write reports for the client
• Meet the client weekly on security concerns

• Matric, with a security management course a plus
• At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
• Confident writer of incident reports and rosters
• Available after hours for emergencies
• PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)

• Say how many officers you supervised and on which sites. The number matters more than the title.
• Mention how you handled absenteeism or roster gaps. It is the biggest daily headache for security companies.
