Event Security Steward (Stadium)

You'll control who comes in and out of a private school campus in Harrismith, and log every visitor properly. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

You'll report in Harrismith. Relocation is not covered for this one. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

• Write every incident and shift change in the occurrence book (OB)
• Hand out and collect contractor access cards
• Keep the guardhouse clean and the OB up to date for the relieving officer
• Check visitors' IDs and capture them on the visitor app or in the gate register
• Watch for loitering, broken fencing and open doors during night patrols
• Search vehicles and bags leaving the site when company policy requires it
• Direct traffic and parking during school drop-off or big events

• PSIRA registration at Grade C or higher, paid up to date
• Able to work 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends
• Physically fit for foot patrols
• Clean criminal record
• Grade 10 minimum; matric preferred

• Previous experience at a similar site type
• Experience on estate access apps or biometric readers

• Chance to be upgraded to Grade B with training
• Stable long-term site contracts
• Provident fund contributions

• Arrive for the interview in neat clothes with your certificates in a plastic sleeve. It shows the discipline they want.
• List the types of sites you have guarded, like estate, mall or factory. Security companies place officers by site experience.
