Event Security Steward (Stadium)

Residents and staff at a gated residential estate in Potchefstroom need to feel safe when they arrive; that is your job. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

You'll be based at a gated residential estate in Potchefstroom. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Test the panic button and radio when you come on duty
• Write every incident and shift change in the occurrence book (OB)
• Check visitors' IDs and capture them on the visitor app or in the gate register
• Search vehicles and bags leaving the site when company policy requires it
• Hand out and collect contractor access cards
• Patrol the perimeter on a set route and scan checkpoint tags
• Open and close boom gates for residents, deliveries and contractors

• Able to work 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends
• Grade 10 minimum; matric preferred
• Physically fit for foot patrols
• Clean criminal record

• Provident fund contributions
• Uniform, boots and winter jacket issued
• Paid night-shift allowance under the security sector rules
• Stable long-term site contracts
