Facilities Maintenance Handyman (Office Park)

Handy with a drill, a paintbrush and a tap washer? The city hotel in Pretoria East has a list waiting for you. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

The work is in Pretoria East, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Service pool pumps, gate motors and garage door openers
• Hang doors, fit locks and adjust sliding door rails
• Change globes, fluorescent tubes and plug covers (no DB work)
• Patch, sand and paint walls, doors and ceilings between tenants
• Work through the maintenance log each morning and prioritise urgent requests

• Honest and trusted to work inside occupied units
• Grade 10 at least; matric is a plus
• Your own tools are a plus, but safe tool handling is a must
• Code 08 licence to run errands to the hardware store
• At least 2 years of general building maintenance work you can back up with references
• Available for the occasional weekend emergency

• Training on specialised equipment like gate motors and pool plant
• Meals on duty at hotel sites
• Uniform and safety boots supplied
• On-site accommodation at some estates
