Factory Hand (Bottling Plant) – Fixed-Term

Here in Kariega, a snack food factory needs steady people who can repeat a task well for eight hours. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

You'll be based at a snack food factory in Kariega. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Feed raw material or empty packaging into the machine at the start of the line
• Pack finished product into cases and stack them by batch number
• Wear hairnets, beard covers and gloves in food-safe zones
• Record batch codes and counts on the hourly production sheet
• Help the machine operator clear jams and reload hoppers

• Neat, reliable and on time for shift start
• You follow hygiene rules without being reminded
• Available for rotating day and night shifts
• No problem wearing full PPE, including ear protection

• Previous work in a food or FMCG factory
• Experience assisting on a packaging or filling machine
• NQF Level 2 manufacturing learnership completed

• Staff shop with discounted factory products
• Path to machine operator after six months
• Company transport on some night shifts

• Mention that you can work rotating shifts right at the top. It is the first thing most factories filter on.
• Name the products you worked on before, like "biscuit line" or "juice bottling". Factory recruiters read that faster than a job title.
