Driver's Assistant (Parcel Routes)

Delivery days start early in Coega, and a beverage depot needs you on the bay before the trucks roll. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

Location: Coega, Eastern Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Stack returns and empties neatly for the next count
• Assemble or place furniture where the customer asks
• Guide trucks reversing into the bay with hand signals
• Strap and secure loads so nothing shifts in transit
• Sweep the bay and clear shrink-wrap after each loading
• Ride with the driver and carry goods into customers' premises

• No criminal record
• Able to lift and carry heavy items all day
• Friendly with customers at the door
• Honest; you will be handling customer goods and cash-on-delivery slips
• Comfortable starting from 04:00 or working late loading shifts

• Help to get your own licence through the company later
• Uniform and safety shoes provided
• Route-completion incentives in busy months
