Farm General Worker (Vegetable Fields)

You'll pick, prune and look after crops on a berry tunnel farm near Mokopane through the season. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

Home base is a berry tunnel farm on the Mokopane side of Limpopo. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Move irrigation pipes and check drippers for blockages
• Plant seedlings in rows at the spacing shown
• Fill crates or bins and carry them to the collection point
• Follow the re-entry times after spraying, as the signs show
• Pick fruit or vegetables at the right ripeness and size, gently
• Weed beds by hand or with a hoe
• Tie up tomato and pepper plants in tunnels

• Available for the full harvest season
• Careful with fruit, since bruised fruit is rejected
• Valid ID or work permit
• Follows farm hygiene and safety rules
