Field Sales Rep (Informal Trade & Spaza)

This pet food manufacturer needs a rep in Welkom who knows the shops, the owners and the numbers. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

Home base is a pet food manufacturer on the Welkom side of Free State. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Take orders from store managers and spaza owners on the sales app.
• Pack shelves, rotate stock and remove damaged or expired lines.
• Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.
• Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.
• Send your manager a daily report with volumes against target.

• Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting
• You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area
• Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
• 1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience

• Monthly commission on volume and new accounts
• Cellphone and data allowance
• Company vehicle or car allowance plus petrol card
• Branded uniform and safety boots

• Bring numbers: cases sold per month, new outlets opened or growth percentages on your route.
