Finishing Foreman (Fit-Out & Snagging) – Immediate Start

You'll run the site day to day for the retail and commercial builder in Alberton, from setting out to handover. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

The work is in Alberton, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Check workmanship against drawings, specifications and SANS 10400
• Order concrete, bricks and steel on time so gangs never stand idle
• Chair the weekly site meeting and record actions for the principal agent
• Measure completed work for monthly payment certificates
• Coordinate subcontractors for plumbing, electrical, roofing and glazing

• Working knowledge of the Construction Regulations 2014 under the OHS Act
• At least 5 years on building or civil sites, 2 of them in a supervisory post
• Code 08 licence and your own reliable transport between sites
• You can read architectural and structural drawings and pick up clashes

• Worked on CIDB grade 6 or higher projects
• SACPCMP registration as a Construction Manager or Candidate

• Cellphone and laptop supplied
• Vehicle allowance or company bakkie
• Project completion bonus linked to handover date
