Fixed Asset Accountant (Mining)

You'll own the monthly numbers for a mid-sized manufacturing group in Vereeniging, from journals to the management pack. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

The work is in Vereeniging, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Run cash flow forecasts and manage the weekly payment run
• Prepare the audit file and answer auditor queries
• Maintain the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
• Calculate provisional tax and check the VAT201 before submission
• Build budgets and rolling forecasts with department heads
• Draft annual financial statements under IFRS or IFRS for SMEs

• Working knowledge of IFRS or IFRS for SMEs
• Experience on an ERP such as Sage X3, Sage 300, Syspro or SAP Business One
• At least 3 years of post-qualification accounting experience
• You meet month-end deadlines without being chased
