Fleet Administrator (Licences and Services) – Permanent

Behind every truck on the road is a controller; at a distribution depot in Lephalale, that could be you. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

This post is Lephalale-based, with most of your time spent at a distribution depot. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Plan daily loads to use full truck capacity
• Compile daily reports on trips completed and late deliveries
• Book vehicle services, licence renewals and roadworthy tests
• Arrange breakdown recovery and replacement vehicles
• Check driver hours so nobody drives too long without rest
• Keep a register of PrDP and licence expiry dates for all drivers
• Capture trip sheets, fuel and toll costs on the system

• Calm and decisive when things go wrong
• At least 2 years in transport or logistics
• Able to work shifts in a 24-hour control office
• Matric

• Knowledge of cross-border documentation
• Logistics or supply chain certificate
• Previous truck driving experience

• Growth to transport manager
• Office-based work with a steady roster
• Cellphone allowance for standby shifts

• Mention the tracking and Excel skills you have. Bring an example report if you are allowed to share one.
• Give the fleet size and route types you handled, for example "40 trucks, long-haul and local". Hiring managers want scale.
