Fleet Administrator (Licences and Services) – Fixed-Term

You'll plan the loads and watch the trucks for a courier operations centre in Umlazi, keeping every trip on time. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

The site is in Umlazi; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Assign trucks and drivers to routes and track them on telematics
• Compile daily reports on trips completed and late deliveries
• Check driver hours so nobody drives too long without rest
• Phone drivers when trucks stop too long or go off-route
• Plan daily loads to use full truck capacity

• Good with Excel and email
• Calm and decisive when things go wrong
• At least 2 years in transport or logistics
• Able to work shifts in a 24-hour control office
• Clear on the phone with drivers and customers

• Previous truck driving experience
• Knowledge of cross-border documentation

• Office-based work with a steady roster
• Training on the fleet and tracking systems
• Cellphone allowance for standby shifts
• Growth to transport manager
