Flotation Operator (Platinum Concentrator) – Experienced

Keep throughput up and the plant stable at the platinum concentrator near Springs. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

The site is in Springs; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Log plant readings and downtime on the shift log
• Take samples at set times and bring them to the lab
• Check pumps, cyclones and thickeners on the plant walk
• Clear blocked chutes safely under isolation
• Hand over the plant to the next shift with a clear status report

• At least 1 year operating a processing plant
• Comfortable around noise, dust and heights while wearing full PPE
• Certificate of fitness from the mine medical station
• Grade 12 with mathematics and physical science
• Basic computer skills for SCADA screens and logs

• N4 to N6 or a diploma in Extraction Metallurgy
• Forklift or overhead crane licence
