Job Description

Shelves sell the product, and at this pet food manufacturer you'll keep them full, neat and priced right. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

This post is Johannesburg CBD-based, with most of your time spent at a pet food manufacturer. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

What your day looks like

Collect cash or EFT proof on van sales and bank daily.
Open new accounts with taverns, spazas and independent retailers.
Track competitor pricing and new products in your area.
Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.
Handle returns and credit claims for damaged stock.
Send your manager a daily report with volumes against target.

Must-haves

Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting
You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area
Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
A valid Code 08 (Code B) driver's licence, for rep roles
1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience

Nice if you have

Your own reliable car for a car-allowance position
A sales or marketing certificate

What you get
