Forklift and Tractor Driver (Farm Shed)

If you know tractors, a mixed crop farm near Bethlehem has steady work for you. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

You'll be based at a mixed crop farm in Bethlehem. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Mix and apply sprays exactly as the farm manager prescribes
• Operate combine harvesters during harvest season
• Record hours, fuel and fields worked on the job card
• Plant rows straight, using GPS guidance where the tractor has it
• Check oil, water, tyres and grease points before starting
• Clear firebreaks and grade farm roads when needed
• Hook up and drive ploughs, discs, planters and sprayers

• Can read job cards and spray instructions
• At least 2 years driving tractors on a farm
• Basic understanding of implements and settings
• Available to live on or near the farm
• Safe driver who respects chemical and machine safety
• Willing to work long hours in planting and harvest seasons

• Code 8 or Code 10 licence for road trips
• Basic mechanical skills
• Combine harvester experience

• Farm housing with water and electricity
• Harvest bonus at season end
• Training on new machinery
