Job Description

Night fill, weekends or month-end rush, a neighbourhood supermarket in Polokwane needs extra hands. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

The work is in Polokwane, Limpopo, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

What you'll actually do

Visit several stores on a merchandising route and send photos of shelves
Help customers find products and carry heavy items to cars
Put up price tickets and promotion shelf strips
Unpack deliveries in the receiving area and sort by aisle
Check sell-by dates and pull expired stock for the manager
Weigh, bag and price fruit and vegetables

What you need

Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
Basic reading and maths for price checks
Grade 10 or matric
Honest, since stock losses are checked closely
Neat appearance and punctual

Helpful, not essential

Being 18 or older for liquor store roles
Previous shelf packing or merchandising work
Own transport for route merchandising jobs
