Job Description

You'll handle check-ins, bookings and questions at an airport hotel in Prospecton. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

Location: Prospecton, KwaZulu-Natal. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

The work, day to day

Balance your cash float and card slips before handover.
Book shuttles, dinner reservations and game drives for guests.
Take card pre-authorisations and settle folios at checkout.
Answer booking emails and calls, and quote rates from the rate sheet.
Handle complaints at the desk and log them for the duty manager.

You'll need

Matric
Clear spoken and written English
A hospitality or tourism diploma, or 1 year at a hotel front desk
Calm with an unhappy guest at 11pm
