Tour Desk Agent (Waterfront)

You'll handle check-ins, bookings and questions at a business hotel in Prospecton. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

You'll be based at a business hotel in Prospecton. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Handle complaints at the desk and log them for the duty manager.
• Book shuttles, dinner reservations and game drives for guests.
• Allocate rooms and pass early check-ins to housekeeping.
• Manage OTA bookings coming in from online travel channels.
• Run the night audit, close the day and print the flash report.

• Confident on a computer and quick to learn a property system
• Calm with an unhappy guest at 11pm
• Clear spoken and written English
• Matric
• You can work rotating shifts, including nights
• A hospitality or tourism diploma, or 1 year at a hotel front desk
