Front Office Shift Supervisor

You'll handle check-ins, bookings and questions at a boutique guesthouse in Richards Bay. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

Home base is a boutique guesthouse on the Richards Bay side of KwaZulu-Natal.

• Quote flights, car hire and holiday packages on a GDS such as Amadeus or Galileo.
• Take card pre-authorisations and settle folios at checkout.
• Store guest details securely in line with POPIA.
• Manage OTA bookings coming in from online travel channels.
• Balance your cash float and card slips before handover.

• Clear spoken and written English
• Calm with an unhappy guest at 11pm
• You can work rotating shifts, including nights
• Confident on a computer and quick to learn a property system
• A hospitality or tourism diploma, or 1 year at a hotel front desk

• Revenue or yield management exposure
• Opera PMS or Protel certificate

• Discounted stays across the group

• Hotels phone applicants to hear how they sound, so answer unknown numbers politely while you are job hunting.
