Funeral Cover Sales Consultant (RE5)

You'll sell cover that families really use, from a personal loans branch in Bloemfontein. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

You'll be based at a personal loans branch in Bloemfontein. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Call warm leads from the dialler and qualify them in the first minute.
• Do a needs analysis and match the client to the right product.
• Read the FAIS disclosures and record client consent on every call.
• Follow up on quotes sent and chase missing documents.
• Visit clients at home or work for field advice appointments.
• Capture new policies on the admin system and check debit order details.

• Six months or more of sales, telesales or call centre work
• You are comfortable earning a large part of your pay in commission
• RE5 passed, or willing to write it within the first year
• Credits toward a recognised FSCA qualification, or willing to start

• A qualification such as a Higher Certificate in Financial Planning
• An existing client book (for field roles)
• Your own car for field appointments

• CPD hours logged and funded
• Basic salary plus uncapped commission
• RE5 exam fees and study material paid

• If you have passed RE5, say so in your headline; it is the first filter in most financial sales ads.
• Check your credit record before you apply, because a judgment or default will stop your FAIS appointment.
