Funeral Cover Sales Consultant (RE5) – Permanent

You'll sell cover that families really use, from a personal loans branch in East London. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

You'll be based at a personal loans branch in East London. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Call warm leads from the dialler and qualify them in the first minute.
• Capture new policies on the admin system and check debit order details.
• Save policies when clients call to cancel.
• Track daily sales, conversions and lapse rates on the team board.
• Follow up on quotes sent and chase missing documents.

• Honest selling, even when the easy sale is the wrong one
• Six months or more of sales, telesales or call centre work
• You are comfortable earning a large part of your pay in commission
• Credits toward a recognised FSCA qualification, or willing to start
• FAIS fit and proper: clean credit and criminal record

• Completed class of business training for short-term or long-term insurance
• A qualification such as a Higher Certificate in Financial Planning
• An existing client book (for field roles)

• CPD hours logged and funded
• RE5 exam fees and study material paid
• Basic salary plus uncapped commission
• Monthly sales competitions with cash prizes

• Show commission history with real figures from payslips; interviewers trust numbers over claims.
• If you have passed RE5, say so in your headline; it is the first filter in most financial sales ads.
